The opportunity to help others is extremely gratifying for me, especially when it comes to helping others learn. I have many years of experience in mentorship, including being a youth leader in the Boy Scouts, tutoring, and training airline pilots. I always want to be able to help others learn and achieve great things. I retired from the Air Force, and I now I'm a pilot instructor for Boeing. I have over 30 years of experience instructing others in civilian and military sectors. I've been all around the world, and I've worked with people from all kinds of diverse cultures. I have masters degrees in information management and aeronautical science and aviation safety. I also have a bachelor's degree in zoology. I'm looking forward to attending Clemson to earn an additional masters in biology instruction. I'm also currently pursuing a math theory certificate at Indiana University, and I have a weather forecasting certificate that I earned at Pennsylvania State University. I am an avowed lifelong learner, and I want my students to love learning as much as I do. In my free time, I like to run, bike, swim, do yard work, do woodworking, and learn new things. I also enjoy dogs and horses.
